HOW BEYOND RUNNING IS ADAPTING

Hi Friends,
Owning a business means having many responsibilities. We take our responsibilities seriously. Right now, our most important responsibility is safety. Safety for staff, our customers and the community. We know it is our responsibility to help flatten the curve regarding the spread of COVID-19.
We also have responsibilities to our customers, vendor partners, employees, landlords, the bank, and so on.
It’s been a process to determine how to balance all these responsibilities in such a strange time.
But we think we have a good plan. And we will adapt as needed in this quickly changing situation.
Our plan: Stay safe. Stay connected. Stay positive.

STAY
SAFE
Stopping the spread of the COVID-19 virus is our ultimate priority. Here’s how we are doing our part:
We encourage people to practice social distancing.

We have suspended run club until it is deemed safe to congregate again.

We encourage customers to call ahead if they need to visit the store in-person for shoe fittings, etc. (Think of it as private shopping. Fancy!)

We are maintaining a safe social distance from customers while in the store.

We’ve adjusted our store hours.

We are filling orders over the phone, via social media messages, email, and online.
We are cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting like CRAZY.

We clean and sanitize countertops, doorknobs, and all other surfaces that may have come into contact with a customer or staff member on an obsessive basis.

We wash our hands constantly. And we have the cracking skin to prove it.

We have hand sanitizer at the ready.

We offer touchless transactions when processing payment.

We carry sanitizing wipes on every delivery and wipe down any merchandise before delivering it.

We are not accepting merchandise returns at this time, as items that have left the store could be potentially contaminated.
STAY
CONNECTED
​
Our store was built on community. And up 'til now, most of our community was connected by in-person contact. So, it feels strange and oddly specific to maintain at least 6 feet between each other at all times. But since COVID-19 is determined to make us adapt, we will.
We are still here.

We are still coming to work. The reason we exist is to help you. We haven’t changed what we do, just how we do it.

We are here for you via phone, email, social media, online, and bat signal. Training questions? Not sure what to do now that your race has been postponed? Wondering if a Netflix marathon counts toward mileage? We can help!

We have adjusted our hours. We’ll be here 10-5 Mon-Sat and Sunday 11-4. But if you need us outside of that time, let us know. Except the middle of the night.

We are still running.
​
You may be running solo, but that doesn’t mean you’re alone. We are working every day to find new ways to connect during COVID.

We can still make recommendations for shoes, gear, training, and injury - we’re just doing it from 6 feet apart and beyond.
